The quality of Urban's work is the measure of their success. Here is the measure of our success:
- Urban maintains a continuous apprenticeship program, with at least two machinists working toward journeymen status at all times.
- Over 70% of Urban employees are minorities.
- One out of every six Urban employees is a journeyman machinist.
- Urban Manufacturing has never laid off any of its workers.
- 80% of the journeymen machinists trained in the apprenticeship program stay with Urban Manufacturing.
- Over 20 employees have been with Urban Manufacturing for 15 years or longer.
